Terms & Conditions

Welcome to TradePath Group Academy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TradePath Academy platform (the "App") operated by TradePath Group Academy ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We are designed for students exploring trade apprenticeships in the UK.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate, current information when registering
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and confidential
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted

3. The Service

TradePath Academy provides interactive learning modules covering a range of trade apprenticeships. We aim to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is error-free or complete. Educational content is provided for learning purposes and does not constitute professional advice or formal qualification.

Completing modules does not award a formal trade qualification or guarantee an apprenticeship placement. Certificates issued by the App recognise completion of our learning modules only.

4. Subscription and Payments

• A monthly subscription of $8.99 (USD) unlocks premium content, charged via Stripe
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled
• You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us to request one
• We may change subscription fees with reasonable advance notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems
• Share, sell, or transfer your account or access to others
• Copy, redistribute, or republish content without our written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or other users' access
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the App — including text, graphics, logos, interactive components, lesson materials, and software — is owned by TradePath Group Academy or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your personal notes and journal entries remain your intellectual property. By saving them to the App, you grant us a licence to store and display them to you as part of providing the service.

7. User Content

You are responsible for any content you submit (notes, journal entries). You must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties.

Educational content about trades (including safety guidance) is provided for learning only. Always follow site-specific safety procedures, manufacturer instructions, and applicable regulations when undertaking practical work.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradePath Group Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, profits, or learning time. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
